Up high where Spring is beautiful and Summer nice, lives a man,

All his life has been spent there, Winter approaches once again.

He lives alone in his cabin built long ago,

A companion which does not talk but speaks with a bark.

Time for gathering wood to stack for the Winter,

A tree for the Christmas season to share with his friend.

Home on the mountain is this mans peace and sanctuary,

Sitting by the night fire, a meal cooked over an open flame.

What makes a man happy is a gift so fine,

This is what really matters, a man whom has little but has everything.

Merry Christmas to the man whom enjoys peace in his home on the mountain.
