RIDE WITH ME
We rise to the morning sun, on horses we’ll ride till the day is done,
Beyond the hills and across the plains, ride with me on this day.
A wagon train we see passing by, a river of water on both sides,
Indians who live in the mountains. up so high as if in the sky.
A growing country, an untamed land is where we stand,
Ride with me through the trees so tall, lives in them a story.
This western world of immigrants, travelers, and highwaymen,
Gamblers, farmers, and families seeking their fortunes, building a home.
Ride with me and see this changing place, ride with me through towns,
Fore one day we and that which we see will be long gone.
