YOU ARE YESTERDAY

YOU ARE YESTERDAY

In the span of time, your life could not be measured,

Eighty years appears to be such a long time on this Earth,

A speck of dust, a leaf blowing in the wind, just a blur you were.

Hours go by, the sun rises and sets, life goes on without you here,

The wind blows the tree branches back and forth, It’s Spring Mom.

I called you on the phone, you were not home, where have you gone?

Today has no more time for you, tomorrow you can not be,

You are yesterday, dear mother, yesterday can never again be seen.
