GRAVEYARD OF NO ESCAPE What was about to happen , I didn't think Could be real, It was October, Halloween, my friends and myself Decided to dress up like we were dead. It was a breezy, cold, and clear, starry night, The moon was full and bright, perfect night. We made up our minds that we would go to the Graveyard, And drink some beers, we had no idea, Disrespecting the dead was not a wise Idea. When we got there everything was quiet as it should be, Dark and cold, a few clouds were now passing by. But the light of the moon showed the shadows of Tombstones and trees, A fog started rolling in later on as we sat and drank. We didn't realize that the gates in the graveyard were Locked at 10:pm, we didn't know this yet, The fog grew thicker and we could barely see anything, Only each other close together. Then it happened, noises, shadows in the fog, We could hear creaks, the opening of doors. Moaning and groaning echoes in the fog, We could see hands and feet everywhere. They were coming for us, the dead seeking the pretending, We searched for the gates but it was too foggy and dark.
In desperation we found them but to our horror they were locked, no way out, no escape,
We could now see the moon again and we could also see them. Scared to death as they got closer, we all screamed For help but it would do us no good, This was a graveyard of no escape. Keith Garrett
