ON A WINTER'S NIGHT
Listen to the wind howl, watch the snow as it
Settles on the ground,
The trees are without leaves but their branches are
Covered with a blanket of white.
The animals take refuge in their homes wherever
They may be,
The stars are hidden from sight as the clouds fill
The sky.
The smell of smoke from chimneys as fires are
Burning to warm those inside,
A drink that warms the bones on such a chilly
Night.
A stroll in the snow, there's a place we go,
On a Winter's night, peaceful in our minds.
