KINGDOM NEAR BY
Where shall we go from here in the end of days,
When our time is done, we no longer awake to the rising sun.
Cease do we to be the mortal man,
We’ll live again in a spectacular land.
Our daily thoughts and tasks are no more,
We see not again the moon so full.
There’s a kingdom nearby waiting for us,
Dream of a place where all is great.
Kingdom nearby, kingdom in the sky,
Walk into forever, stand with the king almighty,
Rest when you die, fore eternity we fly.

I happen to believe those very same things. Always good to know there are others out there that are kindred spirits. Good work!

This poem is meaningful, yet not overbearing. I enjoyed it!
Thanks so much for reading
I really love the way it is so deeply spiritual yet not too religious. It gives more than enough breathing space to make your own interpretation of it.
