LET THE BROKEN HEART LOVE AGAIN
Piece by piece, searched for and gathered Into a lonely pile,
Many moons’ rising and sunsets’ past, wanting of love once more.
A heart broken but mends’ as one seeks to again hold her In his arms’,
A kiss that waits’ for that special one, a love that once was, his love.
Let the broken heart love again, waste not the love that Is, she Is,
Let her heart love once again, a man who says’ no goodbyes.
Take these two hearts’ and let their beats’ cry out a warm felt sound,
Listen as the wind laughs’ through the hills’, hear their life’s’ song.
You’ve enriched a life with your presence, this moment In time,
Carry those encouraging lessons’ of care and love until his end.
You are there as you are also here, always In a prayer,
You live In his heart, let him be In yours’.
