TEACH ME TO LEARN
At times the words are heard inside, the sentences scrambled,
Easy to say yes! I understand, Harder to know the meaning of what’s said.
We can not do the work if we are not shown how to perform,
If we do not get the picture then we do not comprehend.
Teach me to learn so that I may understand and a lesson is mine,
From a thought to a word, a sentence is formed, I do hear.
Practice with my ears and mind to overcome an obstacle,
A disability to conquer, teach me to learn, I will understand.

Loved your poem, Keith!
I have always had a problem with learning. Either I don’t understand the words used or they speak too fast for my brain to grasp…
Reblogged this on anita dawes and jaye marie.
This is such an important thing, yet overlooked… Love the poem 😍
Thanks so much for your thoughts.
