To sit around the table as this is that time of year,
A feast for all, to enjoy family and all of this set before you.
As we each one at a time take turns speaking of our thanks,
For this day and that which we have and are grateful now.
What about tomorrow, what about not only Thanksgiving,
Can we understand that our days are most precious?
Let’s be thankful for our health and the health of our family,
Every day we must love each other, forgive, and take hands.
Thankful for each moment that we have life, see the sunshine,
Thankful each day if we live without pain, happiness, not hate.
