So long ago, they set sail for a new world,
Across the ocean, through storms and bitter
Cold.
Forgotten may be the fact that many men,
women, and children did not survive,
From sickness, they perished.
aboard ships, without medicine or even
A doctor, they sailed,
Did they even have enough food? how
Hungry did they grow?
Can we even imagine the hardships they
Encountered?
Plymouth Rock was a place they did land.
Seasons of cold or Springs when they
Planted,
Hard-working people with a chance If
To never give up.
A story is told that way back when
They befriended Indians,
Perhaps they sat down together for a
Feast, so beautiful.
So many seasons ago, Pilgrims and a
Feast,
they sat with a group of people, a long
Time ago,
