JUST WHISTLE,
AND
I'LL BE THERE
A family, wife, son, and father, a music
Man,
Travels does he throughout the seasons,
Leaves For christmas.
Giving up the chance of a lifetime, his
Choice To be with them,
His trek home on a stormy, snow falling
Night, A much greater sacrifice.
Death would greet him on his journey
home, a Mother and child now alone,
"Just whistle and I'll be there" said a father
To his Son before that darkened day.
A snowman created from this young boys mind,
A hat, a scarf, A scarf, he stands in the yard,
A whistle in the night, a magical wind swirls
Down From heavens' light.
Just whistle and I'll be there, a father's
Return For just a short time,
A Christmas gift, a proper said goodbye,
Letting Go As now it will be alright.
