DISMANTLING OF AMERICA
History is a big part of the world, It will be always,
Good or bad we do learn from all that has happened.
There are reminders all over the planet of great things,
Discoveries, accomplishments that came with sacrifice.
There are statues and monuments throughout this land,
So many whiners offended by everything now, makes
Me sick.
Take down statues, disrespect cemeteries, get rid of
All memories,
Every piece of art, paintings, wars, and battles make
Us who we are.
These are reminders of hard times and great achievements
By many,
Is anyone offended by all the nuclear bombs all over
The world, I am,
Can we start removing those today, too much crying
Over silly, not so important stuff.
There's a war right here in America, hate towards
Each other, Plenty of violence,
The dismantling of America is now moving faster,
It comes in many forms,
The people of this country are doing it to themselves,
We don't need any help.

TUMBLEWEEDS
TUMBLE WEEDS
A long ride, not much in between,
Upon a quiet, deserted town I came.
Not a soul in sight, a breeze echoes through
This place,
Many different sounds as if people lived.
Only ghosts of a town that once had breath,
The back and forth clanging of an open jail house
door.
A saloon sign creaking as it swings in the wind,
I can almost feel those who once were here.
Only dust walks these streets, this town that died,
I'll stay here for the night, I'll be alright,
The only thing that will be my company are a horse and
Tumbleweeds.

MASTER
MASTER
You sit back on your throne and watch the world
Spinning around,
You hear the angry sounds, words of hatred that shatter
The grounds.
There Is screaming throughout the world, the winds are
Fierce with power,
here Is energy In fear and sorrow that destroys what
Is all around.
Flood waters rise high within storms that cause many
Souls to die,
Why master do the angry seas wash away homes, why
Must people cry?
The earth seems to be roaring like a lion, stomping like
A giant with anger,
Could it possibly be you master, are you with much anger
Over what man does?
Are tears from heaven so heavy that they wash away life
And destroy land,
Will anyone ever learn before all has disappeared, acts
Of nature or a sign?
There is rumbling everywhere with sounds of what In the
World is wrong,
Master, you must be disappointed, perhaps not shocked
As you know everything.
You saw this coming so why create such a masterpiece
And watch it crumble,
One thing learned from disaster Is that people come
Together but how much is enough?
Master, about this world that you command, you named
One who did really understand.

A LIST OF THINGS TO BE
A LIST OF THINGS TO BE
Never an astronaut, dancing slowly upon the moon,
Flying in a jet across the sky, no, not did I ever fly.
A Football star throwing the ball far, a dream that
Won't be,
Under the lights, a victory on a Super bowl night.
What is it like to be a movie star pretending to be
Many things,
Known everywhere, this is not what I was born to be.
An Olympic star, a racer of cars, I wanted to be but
That's not me,
A great writer, a hero of sort would be something
I might be.
A rescuer of the down and out, a conqueror of
homelessness,
I may not be an Einstein of genius, I am good enough
For me.
A list of things to be, how much can one man need?

FINDING FREEDOM
FINDING FREEDOM
The search for freedom and a fight to keep it,
After thousands of years more is taken away today.
It's all up for sale, we can barely walk in the hills
Anymore,
Dirt, water, and even air are not ours without a dollar.
We are not as free as we believe, we are allowed to do
As they say,
All wars are not about freedom, most are of corruption
And money.
Finding freedom when so much has changed is becoming
Rare,
We are losing it from every direction, before our eyes,
And behind our backs.
The enemy appears to be us, look to our neighbor more
Than across the sea,
Look around people, we are losing our rights, finding
Freedom between what is seen.

SOMETHING SO STRONG
SOMETHING SO STRONG
For so long now a crushing pain, out of darkness I
Find my way,
The sky I see above rests over the mountain I must
Climb.
A glow of light finds me as i make my way up the endless
Giant,
There's a faith that guides, I am not afraid for many
Will Stand with me.
Inside this body lives a spirit of neve rending fight for
Survival,
Something so strong, It conquers the force of doubt in
Another man.
I may not reach the top but i will try, I will get there,
I'll touch The sky,
Lost was I, this man of many sorrows, a change in
Myself discovered.
Such a long road on my own to follow, travel it with me
Now and forever,
I've seen the mountain, I've climbed high with blood
And pain, To the top.
Many have come to watch my flight from the morning's
Light Into the dark,
With me they stood strong, they helped me climb when
I weakened.
Something so strong as I would not fall, their strength
Gave me courage,
The mountain still stands, again I will climb stronger
Each time.

TO CATCH THE WIND
TO CATCH THE WIND
Out there free, in the early morning light from the sky,
A shadowy figure stands motionless as the wind blows
Across the sky.
Feeling the fresh air swirling around this powerful
Spirit,
It raises its head to the rising sun.
Miles, and miles to the North, South, East, and West,
This great beast can run under the wide open sky.
This miracle of nature, a magnificent creation
From heaven,
With speed and quickness, gallops to everywhere.
Such a gentle friend which stands up tall,
Fast, Oh! so fast he may run, and run to catch
The wind.

KEEPER OF THE LIGHT
KEEPER OF THE LIGHT
Up in the air, he spreads his wings,
He stretches to the heavens and sees many things.
This God of the sun, KEEPER OF THE LIGHT,
Soars in the sky on an eternal flight.
So peaceful is he, away up so high,
Forever and ever, this spirit will fly.
Keeper of the light, what do you see?
Beyond the sun, a mystery to me.
Through the wind, you travel round and round,
Watching over this star, from you there's no sound.
I can only imagine you're a spectacular sight,
Fly way up high, keeper of the light.

BENEATH AN APPLE TREE
BENEATH AN APPLE TREE
Fall has come to visit once again, watch the leaves
Float down,
The air changes here in this place, this place of change
Over years.
One thing that stands still here among change is an older
Apple tree,
What stories it would tell if only it could speak the
Words of a man.
Beneath this old apple tree rests in a grave a man
Who once lived,
Let's say his name was Ben, who was he, so many years
Before he was.
Ben was a family man with a wife and children on a
Small farm,
A good life as he along with his family did age just
As the apple tree did,
Ben one day went away, the apple tree stayed, it has
Aged until this day.
Beneath an apple tree lies the body, the remains of a man,
A memory,
Watched over and time spent, always, a man and a tree
Together they be.

A MOMENT IN TIME
A MOMENT IN TIME
A speck of dust, just a trickle of water,
Soon would blow with the wind and dry into nothing.
Our time is now for we are a whisper wanting to
Be heard,
A short period for laughter, remembered for what
we leave.
For so long has time existed, the world, the universe
So large,
We are but a fragment, a particle of all that was created.
A moment in time was this gift we were given from
God above,
A moment to see and love all there is to understand
From this,
Where we go from here we shall not know, but hold
No fear,
Like many fallen leaves from a tree, we are one,
We disappear.
