I AM THE WAY

I AM THE WAY

I have been forever, I am eternal, I am the way,

A day will come when to you my appearance shall be known.

If you are of good when your time on earth is complete,

Then it is that you shall see me, stand before me.

Your journey to the kingdom of heaven will not be so

Until you have first touched the hand of almighty God,

The creator of all that you have known.

Master of the universe and that which you do not yet understand,

I am the light, I am the way to eternal peace.

When it is time then you will be guided,

By angels that will be sent down to comfort

And welcome you into the great beyond.

Believe in me and you shall have everlasting life and love,

Do not be afraid, I am the way.

I AM THE TIGER

I AM THE TIGER

I roam through the jungle, this Is my home,

My daily survival depends on the skills I’ve been taught.

To find my own way, to search for food,

Is every day, these things that I do.

I’m fast and strong, part of what I am,

If growl as I move, they know coming I am.

My colors and stripes say I am the tiger,

I’m a cat by nature, I live by the fight.

HEROES IN THE MIDDLE

HEROES’ IN THE MIDDLE

Clouded by the glory of those all around,

These fearless giants’ will hold their ground.

They keep back the enemy from getting through,

For their standing general, this job they’ll do.

Face to face they push and shove,

To come out on top, to rise above.

Exhausted and dirty the pain shows’ through blood red,

From head to toe, hurt and cut, between them so much said.

Heroes’ In the middle through the snow and rain,

Nothing could be won without sacrifice and strain.

To these men who give their all,

Show them respect, honor them with the game ball.

HERE TODAY, GONE TOMORROW

HERE TODAY, GONE TOMORROW

Amazing it is compared to the length of time the world has been,

That our own existence, our lives are quite short.

Only a second in time are we here, but a moment,

Precious is every step we take, every spoken word.

We work to survive, we live to see all we can before it is our time,

Fore the day will come, we will have our day to die.

We are here today but as it is for most too late,

Grudges we hold, hate for others, we must put to an end.

Our time spent with loved ones is to be treasured,

We forget and we regret our time, we take for granted.

Gone tomorrow, it happens most often, the ticking of the clock,

All of us hold onto an hourglass, a little more sand for some,

We are here today, we hold not a clue of our tomorrow.

HER NAME BE LISA

HER NAME BE LISA

I sit here on a weekly basis visiting her, the green grass beneath me,

Life goes on all around but In between a piece of land that rests quietly.

It holds those who have passed on, who rest peacefully In the great beyond,

This Is such a beautiful spot where the dead lay silently beneath the aging trees.

I can feel the wind upon my skin as It Is seen with branches moving musically,

The slightly clouded sky moves along forever as forever this will be her grave site.

Her name be Lisa as It will be always carved In stone, I sit here while she Is forever gone,

A place she goes, somewhere, where It Is only the peacefully departed shall ever know.

This place where I sit, a memorial to them, to her, so that all will be remembered by some,

I know that she rests not here beneath a gravestone with her name upon It, she’s gone.

Physically It Is as close as can be, does she know I am here, she sleeps always In my heart,

Her name be Lisa, she once had life here as I still live on without her, one day our souls will meet.

HER FACE NOT SEEN

HER FACE NOT SEEN

Not a voice heard, her face not seen, mean as the sea,

Not of reality as she pretends just as a bad actress does.

Roams does she in her make believe little world not to be,

She sits on a throne in her fairytale home, what a show.

Her face is never seen by me as she flies on her broomstick of lies,

Feeds does she upon the pain and suffering of those whom dream.

Make not a mistake fore her Mary Poppins world is just as fake,

She hides her low self esteem behind a colored rainbow she creates,

Awake sleepy head, leave your make believe land there in your bed.

HEAVEN’S TEARS

HEAVEN’S TEARS

A miracle this must be, is it tears of joy,

Tears for the world, do they cry for what is seen?

Something so needed, necessary to sustain life,

Heaven’s tears are that which is needed to clean,

For the rivers to flow, fish live and nature moves along.

The oceans are there, waterfalls continue on a path of beauty,

Lakes fill with water, trees and shrubs need drops from the sky,

Heaven’s tears remain the food of life, do not cry and we will die.

HEAVEN IS WHERE?

HEAVEN IS WHERE

We live our lives from day to day,

Wondering what could be when we have to go away.

Searching for the meaning of this thing we call life,

Maybe we should enjoy our time here Instead of studying why.

Families have lived since the beginning of time,

Where have they gone, I think In my mind.

Another dimension not for us to understand,

A garden of Eden perhaps In a far off land.

No suffering of pain or sorrow could this be,

Another plane of reality.

Heaven Is where, I do not know,

Far, far away, I dream this Is so.

HEARTBEAT OF THE WORLD

HEARTBEAT OF THE WORLD

From within, the earth rumbles, there’s heated liquid like blood,

Beating as a heart beats, energy, and life, power inside a complicated world.

Rise to the surface, thoughts, and wisdom, to learn becomes the brain not seen,

The flowing wind and air stand to be the breath, lungs of the land.

The moon that rests beyond the sky, the stars and planets that watch up high,

The eyes of the world could only be our creator god invisible to our sight.

Is it sadness in the world or tears of joy that make the sky cry,

A sacrifice as the water drops fall sustaining life and keeping beauty in sight.

Everything hears everything, ears of the land are everywhere,

The world lives as we live, take for granted and many things can do us in.

HEART OF STONE

HEART OF STONE

Beats this heart, a strong yet fragile organ,

A complicated mystery that gives and sustains life.

There is no love in the heart, an emotion, state of mind,

We like to believe that a person has a big heart, not a good thing.

Speaking physically and emotionally, there are two hearts,

That one in your chest and a beautiful spirit of it that beats in your soul.

Some have a bad heart, a black heart that is sick with evil,

A heart of pure gold rests with those so gentle and kind.

The hardened heart that is created within a lifetime of mistrust,

A heart of stone, a piece exists in my spirit now as I’ve been hurt,

Let it grow I will not, keep chipping away to a heart of love and care.
