BEYOND MY REACH
With my hand stretched to the sky I can not touch
The stars so high,
Nor the clouds, a falling star, or the sun going down.
The wind, I can not grab hold, a bird in flight,
A dream in the night, never a yesterday.
Beyond my reach is not my dreams,
It is not that which I pray for,
The hand of God I can not touch, in my heart I can
Surely take hold.
It is not hope, nor faith, it is not a tomorrow,
Beyond my reach are many things,
Beyond my reach is not everything.

WHAT DOES THE SKY SEE?
WHAT DOES THE SKY SEE
From up so high looking down upon,
Does the sky see me as I look back?
On the hills the wind blows through the trees,
And swims does the ocean,
Is this what the sky sees If only It had eyes?
Can It see the birds fly,
Or the squirrels climb the trees In the morning light?
What does the sky see,
Possibly only what your Imagination dreams.

TRAIN RIDE
TRAIN RIDE
Awaiting Its' arrival as here It comes to take
Me away,
Sounds like thunder rumbling down the track, whistling.
Puffing black smoke up Into the air, Its' headlight
Shining,
This monster of steel Is here, time for me to climb
Aboard.
Listen to the hissing from this steam engine, hear It,
We take off heading through the hills' with much to see.
From out of the window stare do I as we pass through,
Darkness from within a mountain carved out a passage.
Tons of rock and dirt hanging above us as we travel,
Moving through this tunnel Into the light, sun going down.
I listen to the sound of the power of this traveling
Train,
Out of the window Is a clear sky as the light from the
Full Moon shines down, guiding our way across the land.

WHAT I SAW FROM MY YORBA LINDA HOME
WHAT I SAW FROM MY YORBA LINDA HOME
Remembering being a boy in our home, a story
To tell,
Between nineteen seventy two and nineteen seventy seven.
I saw our house as it was being built, met some neighbors
That year,
We moved in early May, Starting school was hard so late
As it was.
We were having our pool put in that Summer, I remember
The heat,
Those were the days of Saturday morning cartoons, worry's
So few.
The Buggs bunny roadrunner hour, our new home was so
Cool.
The TV guide, late night classic movies were a Summer
Delight,
Seasons in the sun, Music of the seventies, my friends
And all of the fun.
Sunday morning watching Wonderama, swimming in our pool.
Weekends and Summers, nine children on the loose.
I remember Mannix, Hawaii five o', the Sunday night
Mysteries,
Reading mad magazines on the porch, a coke in the hot
Sun.
On the phone with friends, the early seventies were a
Great time,
Musical sounds that said the Ice cream man was coming,
I remember.
Fourth of July, Fireworks that lit up the night, what
A sight back in time.
My Yorba Linda home, back in nineteen seventy two, I
Remember you.

MR. FITSCHU
MR. FITSCHU
A fictional character from back in time,
On a planet of giants, no peace could he find.
Running for his life as everything was an adventure,
Not a task was small, each day was like forever.
What seemed like a nightmare was reality for him,
They were not monsters, in fact, human just as he.
Not friendly as they would not understand this,
A freak to be put in a cage, laughed at, a prisoner.
Mr. Fitschu would forever be running for his life,
Always watching, in the land of the giants.

THOUGHTS OF CLAIRE DE LUNE
THOUGHTS' OF CLAIRE DE,LUNE
FRENCH FOR MOONLIGHT.
A shadowy figure of a woman against a background
Of a shimmering lake,
Mystery woman, who could she be, who Is she?
Such beautiful music moves down Into your soul,
Sounds' of Piano floating In your mind.
A symphony of beauty composed from the heart,
Peaceful and somehow, a little lonely it is.
Thoughts' of love, memories of times since past,
Romance and spending time with that special one.
Music from heaven Is where this comes,
A masterpiece of possibly dreaming, magic, and a
Wish of hope.

THROUGH DIFFERENT EYES
THROUGH DIFFERENT EYES
There we are together standing, as the sun disappears,
Only a lonely tree keeps us company, we are alive!
Many colors rest In the open sky as day turns to night,
We stand together yet apart with our own vision of life.
Through different eyes do we see the same things,
As only our thoughts create a separate way of seeing
Them.
We are two souls occupying the same earth, dreaming,
Wondering,
Watching the world In two directions, seeing a different way,
imagine.

THREE ROADS TAKEN
THREE ROADS' TAKEN
The forest, the hills,' and the desert traveled,
These three, these men of faith will be challenged.
Where do I go, alone will I know asks the first seeker?
I'll take the first road, I'll find my way to the forest.
The way home for me will be found, we'll meet In a place,
The forest will show me many things, a search so beautiful.
time for me to go, my road has been chosen,
I'll make my way Into the hills,' these words spoken.
We will come together once more, somewhere In time,
Travel I will into the quiet hills' of discovery, a road
Taken.
Fore the third wandering man will journey across the desert,
A road meant for only he, unbelievable scenes to his eyes.
The desert will teach this alone man lessons of the heart,
His way home will be hard fought, they will find the same
Road.
Three roads taken, three men walk a path alone,
In the end they will stand together In the hills', the
Forest
And In the desert, these men of three will never find again
This home but all will be as one, they will find their way
Home.

THESE THINGS I DREAM
THESE THINGS' I DREAM
Within myself, thinking of a place In another
Reality,
What lies around me may be a different consciousness.
This state of mind as I am not awake, floating, floating,
I see a world like never have I Imagined before, I see.
Visions' sent to my brain, pictures of stories past or
Future,
These things' I dream, a mystery from an eternity.

ABOVE THE WAVE
ABOVE THE WAVE
Out on the horizon, beneath the sinking sun, It
Rolls in,
They all come to watch, they come to ride the wild
Surf.
For the true surfer It comes from within, at one with
the wave,
Shooting the tube, living on the edge, free to glide
Across the water.
From Australia, the split, surfers' paradise, they battle
the rolling storm,
To Hawaii, Waimea Bay, North Shore, Pipeline, or
Hanalei bay, the wave.
Above the wave where dreams' are made, surf the open
Waterway,
Around the world beyond the shores of Peru to New
Zealand, Ride.
Above the wave, beneath the wide open sky, forever ride,
Touch the water and listen to the sound of the crashing
Waves.
