FROM THESE EYES SEE
What do I dream, look into my eyes, what do I see,
To you are my eyes beautiful, what do your eyes see.?
My eyes shine in the light, they’re a color of brown,
A face I wear but you do not see, you will not see me.
From these eyes seen are amazing and wonderful things,
In my time there have been tears shown to you, why.?
These eyes take in all that will appear before them,
Do you know me, have you seen me before.?

FROM THEIR LAND
OF STRUGGLE AND PAIN
They come from a land across the sea,
A place most of us will never see.
On the outside a world has a face so green,
In its heart fear and anger much to mean.
So beautiful it is but very hard to understand,
How or why there could be so much blood on their hands.
Out of this struggle four men emerged,
From their home called Ireland with something to say.
As Bono he’s known with his voice to the world,
A message he sends through the music made, heard.
While on the stage not a dancer is he,
From his heart speak the words of a man,
Whose seen with his eyes the pain in our world not meant to be.
What his music has given to his band and himself,
Too the world he gives back showing his feelings and
Care for humanity with a bit of his wealth.
They’ve been around for many years,
Too try and shed some of the worlds tears. U2

FROM THE MIRROR
What do you see when you peek at me, for a lifetime you’ve seen,
I wait as each time you appear, we grow older together with the years.
You stare and dream as thoughts from your mind are the same in me,
The morning awakes you, come see the mirror, do you see, do you see.
You’ve studied me closely, at times wondering who I am, understand,
I am the same as you, a man searching within himself, always searching.
From the mirror you gaze into these eyes, are you so surprised,
Do you think I do not know whom it is you really are, I know you.
There are those moments I wish not to see you, not here you,
Not think at all or too fe.el the same pain that haunts you,
From the mirror thoughts of a man, a piece of one man.

There’s a sound, stare into the darkness,
Footsteps are there, listen to the crunching of leaves.
What’s in the dark,? can you see that it’s real,
Does it watch you as you try to see, can it smell your fear.?
From the darkness it moves closer but much to dark,
Out of the darkness it is you who cannot step.
Feel it as you know it is there, you know that it stares,
Your eyes are open but only for you, darkness is everywhere.
What is it that haunts the one whom lives in the dark,?
Could it be all the sounds that you do not see.
From the darkness you cannot wander,
From the darkness you cannot be.

FROM THE BEGINNING
I lived in a time of monsters, great beasts that ruled the land,
There were no words that I spoke, I was a primal man.
I learned to hunt, to eat that which was fought for,
Fearful of the giants that would hunt and eat me.
I learned of fire to keep warm, too cook,Animal skins for clothing to cover my naked skin.
So long ago that it does not seem possible,
Might I have been the first man to walk this land.
I had no name, not even sure of what I was,
The fight for survival, life was quite short.
From the beginning each day had great length,
Tools and weapons of the time were created to see the next daylight.
I was a man whom once walked the land,
The things that I learned are now in your hands.
