A quest, a never ending search for total inner peace,

This voyage, journey, entering ones own spirit and soul.

To look beyond flesh and blood, the shell of ones self,

Who am i is the question asked, do i know me.

To understand and accept myself for who i am,

Admitting ones faults and imperfections out loud and straight in the mirror.

Whom is the searching one, it is you and it is i,

We possess many emotions that speak of what we are.

The person we have or will come to be,

Are we of good or are we of the bad.

This we know of, we have the power of change.

We have the ability to control our thoughts.

The knowledge to understand that the physical actions we choose are our own,

            We have the answers but maybe don’t seek the questions that are needed,

Be the searching one, learn to know and understand you.

The peace you seek lives within, always searching.
