Dying sounds scary, a fear comes with the thought,
Not knowing is what most people live with, the when.
We know there is a day with a date, engraved at our birth,
We usually don’t worry day to day about this as we would miss life.
We must make the most of the day as we are not promised a tomorrow,
It is for granted that each person does take their daily life, this is true.
Always believing another sunrise and sunset, here we are then gone so fast,
Some do know unfortunately that their time is coming soon and must plan.
So, do the soon to be gone suddenly appreciate life and begin to live every moment,
Either way we rarely know the date of our day, enjoy one moment at a time we must,
You can’t live if you spend your time worrying about dying, a lesson still to be learned.

There is a description that I was presented with last week: ‘Elderly Dwindler’. Rather shook me, I really don’t want to be described thus: keep active, physically, cognitively and psychologically
So true.
You are welcome.
wonderful lesson…
