A flash of light, it came from the sky, dark of night,
Fast and bright, knocked him to the ground, shot through his eyes.
Where did this energy come from, beyond a stary sky,
What purpose could this serve, changing a mans life.
It came from the sky and shot a light in his eyes,
Something he would give to his friends, a gift too the world.
It flashed down from the sky, this his birthday night,
A gift and a sacrifice as with time it was to take his life,
What he left behind his friends never forgot.
Keith Garrett
This reminds me of the movie Phenomenon. Great work!
