EYES FROM A DISTANCE
They’re seen, from the park as I walk down the street,
Standing there it is this person under a tree, I can see.
In the store, I wander, shopping for food, again these eyes,
They are here, a color now seen as closer they are to me.
Eyes from a distance are upon me, their faces are searched,
So many colors all from different views, bright eyes too.
I’m everywhere, at times i can see them stare, they dare,
Eyes from a distance are not well known, they roam.
Eyes tell a story, they hold inside secrets of a life,
Eyes from a distance, what do they know, see what they show.
