FOR GRANTED WE TAKE
For granted things are lessons learned,
Our health, a job, a loving wife or friend.
A man does walk with no shoes on his feet, he sobs,
Complain no more as another sits in a chair, he has no feet.
A man who hates that put before his eyes is angry,
Passes by does a woman whom no longer can see.
Disgusted by what is heard as a world of noise,
For another poor soul whom just once more could hear the beauty of music.
As one who feels no gift in his life, there’s a dying soul who clings to breath,
For a chance to be with a love in their life.
For a man whom to another does not wish to speak,
Taken for granted by he as another has no speech,
For granted we take, all are blessed with a gift that must be forever cherished.

An irony indeed! Loved the flow of the poem. ππ Beautiful lines hold a strong message- Never take anyone for granted. Be thankful. π
