WHEN I DREAMED I WAS OLD

WHEN I DREAMED I WAS OLD

I was no longer a child as sleep filled my head,

In this state of consciousness all is a possibility.

I found myself running through a field of life,

The farther I traveled the older I became each step.

As I grew a little taller it was that I lost a touch of magic,

Through the field I ran as my hair changed color and less.

My eyesight was not the same, aches and pains,

My thoughts of the world were different from once were.

My body and mind were less the same in this state,

When I dreamed I was old, was It only a dream.
