I’ve followed you for so long now, but darling you’ve gone the other way,

It seems’ like a lifetime since we last stood together, hand In hand.

I tried to forget you but you’re not easily forgotten, love never set aside,

What you mean to me, how can I go away, how Is It possible to leave you behind.

Listen to your heart, hear what this slowly dying heart cries out In words’ to you,

On my knees I would dearly die for you, I’ve walked many miles to come so far.

Showing love for you In ways’ that are meaningful and heartfelt from a loving man,

At times the love needed by this not so perfect being was a missing emotion.

Nothing can change what you mean to me, take my life, take me today.
