I only ask that you listen when I speak,
In return I will give you both ears kindly.
Be there when I am in pain and need a shoulder,
I'll be there to catch you if in time you do fall.
Please do not stab me in the back, no talking

Understand that there is in me no perfect piece

I know you are a person with human flaws, that's

Be a friend to me and a friendship we will share,

Great words, and very true. We only ever create friendships when understanding is a two-way street.
As I once wrote, “The reason a person finds fault, in another, is through connection, while also through the understanding that the other is not perfect.”
We do mend our wounds, by binding together. Through love, we perfect what is broken. And, through loss, we remember happiness.
So… keep caring. It is that symmetry of a heart, of two people joined in sameness, not difference.
