Fall came, whistling of the wind through the trees,
Temperatures dropped as leaves floated to the ground.
Halloween comes again to a small eastern town,
I lived there once as a child, the fear was not in my sight,
Remember do I laying on my parent’s bed on a moonlit night.
I recall a noise, something nearby, echoing in the woods,
Scared was I as I thought I was dreaming in the night.
Young was I but hearing a neighbor screaming nearby,
Listening as sounds of frantic people traveled all around.
No trace of a woman, just a shadowy figure running between
The trees,
It happened in Amesbury, Massachusetts, disappeared one by one,
Something of a monster, In the woods never could be found.
