DROPS OF BLOOD AT MY FEET

DROPS OF BLOOD AT MY FEET

Tears flow from my eyes, I wish not to care about their minds,

There is blood flowing through my veins, blood of the related of many years.

With every angry sound, from the time the earth started spinning around,

As each and every battle from war, cries echo for thousands of years, with sound.

Wounds that don’t heal as they surface with time, one wrong word, explosion from the mind,

Civilizations disappear, towns of people who once were are no more, things age and die.

Life is an unusual adventure, travel from a place of beginning onward to an earthly end,

Blood spills in many ways, blood of pain, sorrow, the hurt from loved one’s red every day.

Drops of blood at my feet, they cannot be seen but they visit me from painful dreams,

Blood soaked land, drops of blood at my feet, blood on the hands of many a man.

DRIVE! JUST DRIVE

DRIVE! JUST DRIVE

Jump into my car, the motor is running,

The morning sun is shining on this beautiful black machine.

I’ve put the top down, we’re gonna drive, just drive,

Feel the wind blowing through your hair, music in our ears.

Let’s head for the coast, we’ll drive along the ocean shore,

Miles, and miles, of open road, watch as the waves touch the sandy beach.

Let’s drive far, we have all the time we desire,

Through the hills of green grass, we’ll drive the country roads,

For miles there’s only you and me, drive! just drive.

Nothing but beauty is seen as we head for anywhere,

High into the mountains is where our day takes us.

Almost to the sky, we can see everything from where we drive,

We drive into the night, we drive, just drive.

DRINK FROM THE FOUNTAIN

DRINK FROM THE FOUNTAIN

Fact or a fantasy, like the wishing, neverending thought that we can

Climb up and follow that mysterious rainbow to a magical land.

A four leaf clover, that search for the little green grass of hope,

Wish upon a star, will It get you far, blow out the candles,

Did you get that which you closed your eyes for?

Drink from the fountain, first, you must search the world,

Reality or a myth, could this be true, did God place upon this earth

The fountain of life, Is It possible somewhere hidden contains a fountain so true.

How can this be a possibility fore It Is said that all will someday die,

If so true then god put It In a place where no man would ever venture to.

DREAM WORLD

DREAM WORLD

In the light, I saw them, a sky of Orange floating,

An army of ape men dressed in full armor above,

On a hill, they stood, spread out far and wide.

Suddenly, music echoed from the sky, an Eerie sound,

I recognized the tune from an English band listened too.

My sleeping eyes saw them with many faces of fear,

Guns in hand turned before these eyes into electric guitars,

Watching Apelike men come together as a band in a dream world land.

DON’T TELL ME YOU’RE SORRY ANYMORE

DON’T TELL ME YOU’RE SORRY

You do it again and again, how can you be a friend?

You have done these things before, over and over I see.

You stole my money and said you do not know why,

The wounds heal after time goes by but again it happens, tell me why.

Don’t tell me you’re sorry family or friend, I have heard that tune before,

What’s worse than that I’ll tell you now, is when it’s never said at all.

From many mouths, from place to place and town to town, words come out,

Things are done and things are said, again and again to no end,

Don’t tell me you’re sorry, I have heard it all before, don’t bother me anymore.

DON’T CRY FOR YESTERDAY

DON’T CRY FOR YESTERDAY

We have our yesterday, a life growing up,

As a child, life can be the hardest lesson.

Painful memories, scars that carry into our tomorrow,

The good times with family, brothers, and sisters we know.

In our past, our close by yesterday as adults,

We have grown and changed, hopefully for the good.

So as children or adults, as long as we are alive,

There will be a today, a yesterday, and a tomorrow.

We dream of the future, these thoughts we have today,

Don’t cry for yesterday, remember it, cherish that part of your life

You made through good times or bad,

Lessons that taught us, let us not today forget that which we’ve learned.

We are born, we have life, and ultimately we die,

In between are given an experience to see this world

That we truly don’t understand.

So, don’t cry for yesterday.

DOES THE SKY DREAM?

DOES THE SKY DREAM?

The sky is always night somewhere in our world,

Does it dream as it sleeps there where it rests.?

Awake as it does to the morning sunlight,

In another place, it goes to bed again for the night.

There are friends all around this wide open space

That watch over each other in its universe.

Does the sky dream,? always as it exists,

What would it say if to us it spoke.?

DOES IT REALLY HAPPEN?

DOES IT REALLY HAPPEN?

Are they out there somewhere beyond the earth,

Do they study us as we sleep, what do you think?

What happens behind closed doors, we have an idea,

But what closed doors are worse than another?

Does it really happen? yes, it does, they spy from within,

The dollar exchanges hands in every land, good and bad.

They’re taken and sold, disappear without a trace,

Money to be gained in any type of place.

Does it really happen? don’t close your eyes to the day,

I’m not trying to be of a cynical mind but something is coming our way.

DO YOU KNOW ME?

DO YOU KNOW ME?

Suddenly in just an instance, you were there,

I do not know you, you are everywhere.

You appeared with a name, it does not say from where you came,

A smile of mystery, a face never before seen.

I have a name, it does not speak of who I am,

A mask is worn, that I might not be hurt.

Many thoughts and fears live within my spirit,

I’ve been everywhere if nowhere.

I hide and run to keep myself from harm,

There are faces I wear, faces of change.

Do you know me at all, more than yesterday,

I speak from the heart, there is no shame.

DO WORDS MAKE YOU CRY?

DO WORDS’ MAKE YOU CRY

Feelings’ upon feelings’ from this heart shown without regret,

From my lips’ to your little ears’, words’ spoken so true.

If I say hi Is there from you a smile or a sadness,

Do you shiver when I call and to you, my voice Is heard?

Do you cry when my love for you Is told, even though you know,

When goodbye Is a word whispered to you, sweet and wonderful you.

Do words’ make you cry If they’re about you and I, tell me why tell me why,

Do words’ make you cry, do I, tell me, tell me, do words’ make you cry.
