A CLEAR, SPRING NIGHT

               A CLEAR SPRING NIGHT

I await you as the sun goes down, a breeze
 Blowing cool,

There will be a full moon rising In the sky tonight.

Jasmine Is a fragrance noticed In the nights' of
 Spring,

Sweet Is Its' smell as darkness awakes and the daylight
 Sleeps.

The cold bite of Winter becomes a memory for now,

Summers' heat has not yet been born, this feeling of
 Spring.

Walk with me hand In hand, under a full moon so bright,

A clear Spring night Is alright, with a woman of beauty
 I walk.

A dreaming man tells a story of a walk with a beautiful
 Woman,

Under a full moon on a clear Spring night, he waits.

FACE OF A MAN

                     FACE OF A MAN

Look my way, stare into these ageing eyes of green,
 I've seen,

Hair of a lost blonde, long gone, reflections' of
 Change.

Once whiskers' of a darkness, now a different
 Shade of life,

A smile always the same, if not hidden beneath
 Sorrow or pain.

Lines appear on this face when seen through the days'
 Sunlight,

Growing older but never so old as to give up the search,
 I'm searching.

Through the tears, laughter finds a face of love wanted,
 My face,

Look my way, this is the face of a man, expressions' of
 Thought shown through.

More than a stare, a smile, or many pictures combined
 From A world of time,

Take a closer look, give one more stare, understand the
 Face of a man.

HILLS OF DARKNESS

                   HILLS' OF DARKNESS

Through the hills' I walk to find a place,

Of peace and happiness for a home I'll make.

Escape I will from times of darkness,

Into the light of day where I want to be.

Leave behind things' of the past,

Onward I walk till I find my path.

As my travels' through the hills' continue,

See do I, clearer from my eyes.

These hills' of darkness, I leave behind,

Out In the open, of better things' I'll find.

IN THE LIGHT

                                                                                            IN THE LIGHT

Fully having faith Is to believe that you know no
 Matter what happens,

To find out that you are dying and may suffer through
 It all or go quickly,
That there Is a better place, you will not ever again
 Be in pain or sad.

You will not lay In a dark box alone with no breath,
 Afraid forever,

When you die what happens If you choose to stay,
 Not want to go away?

In the light, Is that where we are suppose to go,
 How will we know,

What's there In the light, Is It a path to the creator
 Of all life.

In the light will we see a spectacular sight, will
 There be family waiting,

In the light things are not known until It be our
 Time to go,

When It's time, with faith you'll walk In the light
 Without fright.

FIRE STORM

                    FIRE STORM

Like a tornado it appears suddenly, out of nowhere
 It attacks,

Burning heat that rages on a path of destruction
 Without remorse.

Visible fire, a monster that with its touch can make
 Life disappear,

With the help of natural wind this creation man made
 Or not builds strength.

It consumes without fear, tireless, always hungry as it
 Makes its way anywhere,

Smoke fills the sky, dark, thick, smoke travels upward
 Into the atmosphere.

The birds fly, watch as the animals run with great fear
 Through the hills of flame,

Survival is the only game being played today, the losers
 Will forever go away.

Fire storm, Destroys does it a piece of our beautiful
 World with every attack,

Sometimes forever gone, healing of the land takes so
 Long, Scars are never gone.

TWO ON A SWING

                     TWO ON A SWING

Here we are in the late afternoon,
 The sun going down,

I came by your house to say hello,
 It's been some time.

I can't believe it's almost Summer can you,

I see you still have that porch swing your dad put up.

How has everything been going for you since I've
 Been gone,

I'm glad, I can only stay for a while,
 You do understand?

Remember the days when we would just talk and sit
 On your swing,

The weekends in the Summer sun,
Laughing and not a worry to be found.

We were just kids, young, times like those are
 Memories of fun,

I could see your tears when i had to leave this place.

I'm in your heart as you'll forever be in mine,

Let's just sit here for awhile until the sun fades,

I'll never go away, remember two on a swing
 In those Summer days.

LUCKY MAN

                         LUCKY MAN

To each day he rises a bit sleepy eyed but he rises,

Clouded may the sky be of darkness or sunshine.

He walks the land taking in the air blessed upon,

What is seen by this man is love and life, it's seen.

He knows the magical art of making one laugh,

Now the laughter lost by he has been re-discovered.

Treasures of happiness are all around, easily noticed,

No more blindness of an eclipse to the sight, lucky man.

Nothing needed, everything's at his feet, the grasp of
 His hand,

How he did not see does not matter, lucky man, what a
 Lucky man.

KILLER WITH A HEART

                   KILLER WITH A HEART

To be left alone, loneliness has its price, kills
 Tonight,

Leave him in peace, no second chance for you will be.

His life is a dance from day to day, killer all the way,

For the money, a job well done, never is this for fun.

You woke the demon when you killed his dog, stole
 His car,

Why couldn't you leave well enough alone, now you're
 Done,

Killer with a heart, a look upon his face, simply
 leave him be.

I NEVER DREAM OF YOU

       I NEVER DREAM OF YOU

It sure has been a long time sir, now closer than
 Once before,

I am older than you now, you were thirty seven as
 I was once seven.

Always thinking of you, but why I never dream of you
 Is not known,

Dreams fill my head for a lifetime as I can only make
 Them up in the light.

I wish there were nightly dreams of you father, nothing
 Comes to my mind,

I never dream of you, sleep does not let me ever see
 Again, Your face.

Because you went away that day, your face fades and that
 Is Hurting my Every day,

What blocks you from my mind, does death take to much
 Away.

I never dream of you but the memories will live until
 Eternity.

HOME YOU GO

                  HOME YOU GO

Close your eyes and open your mind,

Take a trip, home you go back to the snow.

You were only a child, a young boy back then,

Not so long ago to remember again.

Woods of trees, Christmas times that can never again be,

Icicles hanging from the roof tops, snowmen at your feet.

Watch as it falls, snowballs made from the ground,

Grapes hanging on vines, friends back in time.

From thoughts you'll see the house where you once lived,

See it from so long ago, life was beautiful,

Leave it there, any pain or sorrow, bury it deep
 In the snow.

It lives in your mind, let the sadness go,

Remember a place called Amesbury, for an uncle named Joe.
