OH! ROBIN, WHY?

OH! ROBIN, WHY?

I’ll never understand why a wonderful human being has gone away,

What were you thinking on this day, that life was so bad, what would you say.?

You made the world laugh since the days of Mork and Mindy in the past,

A gift was bestowed upon your soul the moment when you dear Robin was born.

Grow would you to accomplish a most wonderful thing, you made the world laugh,

Your voice, your own laughter echoed around the world and you sir! were a gift.

Oh! Robin, why? sadness rested in your heart and now it rests in ours,

So much laughter as behind it you wore the mask of a clown, painted face whom cries.

Today a tear sheds on many faces as around the world an echo of Robin’s goodbye,

You made me laugh, you were one of those who made me want to dream.

You now set sail on another adventure, you are cast as a star, you’re on your way,

I know in heaven you will laugh once more, i’m sure you will make Jesus smile.

I say to you, goodbye Robin Williams, the world laughs a little less without you,

We will smile and once again laugh in time, rest your weary mind by god’s side.

FIRE STORM

Like a tornado it appears suddenly, out of nowhere it attacks,

Burning heat that rages on a path of destruction without remorse.

Visible fire, a monster that with its touch can make life disappear,

With the help of natural wind this creation man made or not builds strength.

It consumes without fear, tireless, always hungry as it makes its way anywhere,

Smoke fills the sky, dark, thick, smoke travels upward into the atmosphere.

The birds fly, watch as the animals run with great fear through the hills of flame,

Survival is the only game being played today, the losers will forever go away.

Fire storm, Destroys does it a piece of our beautiful world with every attack,

Sometimes forever gone, healing of the land takes so long, scars are never gone.

“PENNY”

I found a penny on the floor,

Shiny and bright like never before,

Back on a sunny day in nineteen seventy four.

I threw it far on a windy, Spring day,

Where did it go, this penny i cast away.?

There were many more like it, dated that year,

Where has it gone, that penny tossed without care.

I pulled a penny from my pocket today, a penny from change,

I dropped it on the floor, when i picked it up so aged and old.

The date on it said nineteen seventy four just as so long ago,

What if after forty years of travel my penny found its way to me,

Imagine these things that might be, what if all is a possibility.

THEIR SHOPPING FACES

Approach do i that familiar place where food is much needed,

Headphones ready as i enter that always different shopping experience.

Sometimes i feel calm as i wander on my mission to succeed and leave,

A gathering of people, all going their own way, searching for tonights supper.

Amazing it is the minds of those whom can figure it out and others so lost,

On their cell phones standing in the middle of isles without a clue, simply rude.

Excuse me i say as i move their cart for them, they stare and look away,

I watch their faces, not all are this way but many seem either angry or don’t care.

Here we go, the best part of the adventure is when we reach the line, wondering,

Which one to get in, I see the many expressions of frustration and in a rush.

The problem is when it’s their turn then they are never ready, talking on the phone,

Amazing as they can’t find their money, forgot how to use a card, to write a check.

These things as i listen to my music praying for a miracle that will save me from this,

The next time you go to the store take a look around, so much to laugh at, their shopping faces.

HOW MUCH LONGER BEFORE IT’S TO LATE?

We need to open our eyes, we’ve been blind to long,

Look what’s happening to us, there’s something very wrong.

Alone it won’t be done, we must do this together,

All of us take for granted a world we live in is forever.

Overlooking the pollution we pass by each day,

Leaving it to another to make it go away.

Poisoning the resources we must have to survive,

These things that we do, one day surely we will all die.

It’s now time to change, make a difference each one,

To save mankind, let’s all stand as one.

How much longer before it’s to late,

Why do we tempt the thing we call fate.?

It’s a crime what we are doing to the ground and our sky,

It’s time to stop now, it’s our time to make things right.

We can make it work if it gets done now,

To hesitate and delay will only bring sorrow.

MAY I HAVE A DRINK OF WATER?

In search of water, will i have to travel any further,

The Summer is quite hot and i am very thirsty.

For granted we have taken the rain that fills the lakes,

See the lakes as they sink lower, a hole in the ground one day.

The waterfalls so beautiful fall down with cool splashes we see,

Watch as they trickle, drying up, no more will they be but a dream.

Rivers and streams are places of beauty that never cease to be,

Take a look as before your eyes they slowly dry and go forever away.

May i have a drink of water,? will it ever again rain, what happend to the rain,?

If ever again a cloud in the sky, pray that drops of water don’t pass us by.

WALK WITH ME, SEE, AND DREAM

Let’s walk, we’ll see, and dream,

Do you see the mountains that touch the sky,

Do you dream that they’ll always stand so high.?

Look at the clouds that pass on by casting shadows,

See the clouds, see and dream.

Walk with me into the forest, do you see the animals moving,

Dream that nature will survive, dream the animals will forever be.

Upon the sand we stand looking out at the horizon,

See the waves before your eyes, will the ocean forever be.?

The sun will rise, away go the shadows and darkness,

Watch as the sun rises, do you see, dream that it will rise each day.

When the sun sets, a full moon will glow tonight,

Tell me you see the moon in the sky,

Dream the moon will never die.

The snow sets upon the ground, we see it fall all around,

Together let’s dream the snow we’ll always see.

Do you see the trees dance in the wind, see the trees,

The wind we can not see, dream that the trees and wind will never leave.

Walk with me, see, and dream.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO?

If a love goes away will she come back another day,

Is this possible, what might this person say.?

For myself to get back in control, what do i need,?

Nothing really, just thinking logically.

Is it possible to forget things I’ve learned,?

No, not really, only putting them aside for moments

Of ignorance or stupidity.

To be happy is possible this i know,

Look around you, life is good, don’t miss out.

All things are possible with just a little prayer,

And not giving up.

THIS GUITAR

Strum as you will each string on its face,

Words in tune with every touch of a hand.

What does it say as you teach it to speak,?

Sound and rhythm of emotion, this guitar.

Two become one, body and tool, this guitar,

Learn from it, feel its heartbeat of magic.

This guitar talks with the help of a wanting heart,

Listen, listen as it echoes out thoughts, this guitar.

HOUSE ON THE HILL

It stands above, from the road it is large and quietly mysterious,

Never seen is a person or people but lives there is certainly someone.

An old but beautiful, made of brick and wood house that rests on a hill,

The iron gate that surrounds it says to stay away, its beauty is always.

Appears that this old house on the hill is empty and lonely, from the outside,

There runs water down the side of the house into a lake that shines in the sun.

One can only imagine the appearance of the inside as over the years who did see,

The fact remains that somebody does live in such a place as this, a person not seen.

Why would one so desire to hide from the world or do they simply wish to be left alone,

The mysterious, quiet, house on the hill has stood for many generations as told,

Years of family perhaps at one time were known, what’s inside, a book of stories old.
