THE DEVIL’S DAUGHTER

Evil she is, a face so false, she smiles a phony smile, watch out!,

To all that walk her path maybe a friend indeed, something they don’t see.

Appears does she your average woman but look close beyond those demon eyes,

A disguise that so well she hides, i am not fooled by this daughter of fire.

She plays a game to make you believe that she is one of innocence but please!,

Don’t be deceived fore as a baby her eyes did bleed, an evil stare you’ll see.

Preaches prayer, a christian this sister, the devil’s daughter claims to be,

How could one be so cruel with a smile if a heart she claims of love and peace.

I might sound cruel and it so sad, my sister so mean and bad,

No one seems to see but a few souls and me that she pretends to be so kind.

She’ll turn on you if her path you choose not to follow, the devil’s daughter,

I wish it were not true as these are my feelings spoken out to all of you.

STRANDED ON THE MOON

Left here for awhile, what is needed lay at my side,

There is no air but the gift of breath is with me now.

From this place it is that the universe is alive,

In all directions everything created is before these eyes.

Comets zoom by with the greatest of speed,

Stars are bright, everyday appears as night.

Asteroids are somewhere out there, everywhere,

I sit here stranded on the moon among the cosmos.

The sun is so bright with fire, burning in the dark,

The only thing i can’not see is heaven, where are you.?

The earth is spinning faster than i have ever imagined it to,

Like a dream to see the oceans’ and a world not so big

Compared to what is seen from here.

SAIL AWAY WITH ME

A slight breeze blowing across the bay today, the sun will shine,

A few passing clouds but a great day to sail away with beautiful you.

Free to wander a different part of life, escape together across the water,

What a beautiful day, such a pretty smile on a beautiful face ready to sail.

I brought wine and cheese and If It gets chilly something stronger you see,

A blanket to cover up with as the day loses the sun, some music and some love.

Sail away with me beyond all that we everyday see, just you and me, the sea,

Remember our day together, our time In the sun sailing Along the horizon line.

Sail away with me, forever we’ll sail together until go away forever.

READ ME A STORY

You’ve come to my door, thanks for honoring my request,

Please! step Inside and make yourself at home, I’m about ready.

A story Is what I want, something that will take me away to another place,

Read me a story about a great adventure that’s not a possibility.

Read me a story so that I may forget my struggles of this day,

I’ll lay my head upon this pillow so soft as you read me a story so great.

You are a woman whom tells stories of far off lands and places never real,

You take away the stress that lives Inside, You save my tiring life.

Thank you always as I drift off to sleep peacefully dreaming beautiful things,

When I awake to the morning light It Is always that you are gone.

NO HARD FEELINGS

When It comes down to It everyone and everything becomes expendable,

Are we even worth the work that we do, we can value ourselves but do they.

There’s a number on your paycheck, a number to a bank account, what are you,?

The value of a man once was judged on his work and his character, what happened.?

First they say no hard feelings ,words spoken from black hearts, I thought friends,

My mistake being that there Is a difference between family, friends, and work.

Lessons that should have been learned many years ago but trust has hurt again,

No hard feelings are said as they turn their ugly heads, we are family, no chance Indeed.

Friends, family, or trust, Sometimes I’m not sure what that Is, whom will turn their backs,

Hear me as I say I work for a place, Armstrong Garden Center’s In Southern California

Where the evil lies within, a bad, unethical, Unprofessional, Immoral, cowardly liar of

A manager Named Mike Wigler hides In a Monrovia store backstabbing all there.

A man whom would throw his mother and wife under the bus to save himself.

A man who Would sing songs on the radio to stress me out when he knows of my

panic disorder, he would sing about my tragedies In life, I’m the witness because

At work no one seems to remember at this moment, I’m not like him thank god.

I am very angry, I am Keith Garrett and I have spoken.

MASTER OF THE SKY

I see you from here, from where It Is that I stand, soaring,

Wings spread far as you are the eyes In the sky, do you see.?

Yes! from these eyes down upon the world I do see, watching,

I soar with the wind as In heaven I do soar with all things.

Are you the master of man, these questions from my lips,

Master of the sky, please tell this seeking man why we must die.?

The thoughts In your mind are known by me, listen to your beliefs,

Why Is It you think you must die, In heaven I give you eternal life.

I fear that death will take me and I’ll be forever lost, so alone,

Although I believe, how Is It that this mortal man might really know.?

Do you believe In heaven as the bible and lessons taught,

Do you believe In the lord and all that’s been created.?

I do believe, I know that I’m a child of god created by mother and father,

I know that you, Master of the sky will one day take me home to stay.

Put away your doubts, let go of your pain and sorrow, give them to me,

I am the master of the sky, creator of all that you know and more.

Have faith fore It will comfort you, trust In me, be at peace.

TEACH ME TO LEARN

At times the words are heard inside, the sentences scrambled,

Easy to say yes! i understand, Harder to know the meaning of what’s said.

We can’ not do the work, if we are not shown how to perform,

If we do not get the picture then we do not comprehend.

Teach me to learn so that i may understand and a lesson is mine,

From a thought to a word, a sentence is formed, i do hear.

Practice with my ears and mind to overcome an obstacle,

A disability to conquer, teach me to learn, i will understand.

IF NO ONE COULD SEE

How would it be, what are your thoughts if no one could see,

Lights are on, the nights are dark, what’s the difference without sight.

There would be no color except that of black, Imagination was all you had,

How could you be a racist if your eyes were always closed, who would know.

If no one could see would the world be a better place for all to be,

We could learn to walk in peace, we would never have had to read.

We could speak and have much still to complain about,

We would not see what horror lives beyond our reach.

If no one could see then the beauty that lives would be a mystery,

There are several thoughts to these questions that i seek, tell me what you believe.

TRAIL OF TEARS

There appears to be two sides to our mysterious existence,

We can believe the devil exists but I believe and have faith In god.

There are those whom are of evil, those whom are of much good,

Throughout time many have cried, shed tears over experiences In their time.

Tears of happiness walking down the Aisle, a first born child.

A graduating son, that first grandchild whom Is loved so much,

Happiness within yourself and happiness for others may bring tears.

The death of a loved one, a friend will bring tears of plenty, loss In ones life,

Bombs bursting across many saddened lands, starving children with no chance.

Killing of Innocent animals, homeless souls wandering since It all began,

Trail of tears run for the destruction of Civilizations from lifetimes ago.

Horrifying, needless, slaughter of people because they are different,

The good and bad, happy and sad bring to us our trail of tears.

UNTIE MY SHOES

The night is dark and quiet, a breeze is in the air,

I’ll rest up for the night, barefoot and feeling alright.

The morning will soon come to life, open my eyes,

Put on my shoes and get ready for the day, a new day.

Work outside from sun till it’s done, heat or rain,

Whatever it takes to see the job done under the falling sun.

Whether it be sweat or cold, i’ll make it young or old,

When the day is gone then it’s time to stroll home.

Tired feet but life is so sweet, in my yard again for the night,

Untie my shoes is the thing that i’ll do,

Off they go until the morning is known.
