DID YOU SEE TODAY

Did you see this day, the sunrise upon the treetops,

Birds in the sky, working to survive.?

Did you see today, the world of a different face,

Did you happen to notice things of change.?

Walking along, did you hear from streets, a song,

Did you see between the scenes what is reality.?

Did you see the eyes of one whom passes you by,

Do you really ever see their faces, what do they hide.?

Did you see today, hunger under the freeways,

Did you look for the lost souls whom wander their own way.

If you open your mind did you see a different picture from inside,

Did you see today, from another way.
