EYES OF JUDGEMENT

EYES OF JUDGEMENT

A blind date, that first look at a face or body,

Can we see beyond a physical sight, first impression,

A first layer of beauty, the shape of a face and body,

Some eyes can not see beyond what’s in front of them.

A thicker layer of handsome and pretty rests much deeper,

What you see may not be that which you get, take another look.

Beauty is at times not so skin deep, underneath can be most amazing,

Eyes of judgement are fast and mean, without heart or care the world is seen.

FUCK YOU!

FUCK YOU!

I apologize for this phrase, I do not speak in such a way,

But fuck you! when you try to take what is mine, such a crime.

I have nothing and you let me know that you’ll take all that I have,

Nothing in my pocket but you will take what can not be ever had.

Fuck you! when you take away my job, you are the corporate slob,

Many lies, the devil is on your side, from god you will never hide.

Fuck you! to the white house and those inside that hide from justice,

You are a crime, protected from the criminals that you buy.

Fuck you! to the friends, family, and neighbors who do wear a phony smile,

I have watched you all, I do not wear the same smile, you are an American lie.

For what you have done to me, Fuck you! for free, I have seen all that can be,

To the Government, the justice system, and the IRS that brings me down,

Fuck you! for being around, there is nothing good that I have found.

EYES IN THE NIGHT

EYES IN THE NIGHT

What is it that lives beyond the light of day,

Lurks, wanders in the dark, exists in the night.

Search for food, a task that’s taken much for granted,

While we slumber in silence, eyes in the night survive.

Many are they that fly, quietly on the prowl this night,

Over fences, there are the ones that move carefully, slowly.

Crawling along the ground, there’s a fight to see the morning light,

Scraps of food, nourishment for a chance to do it all over again.

So many eyes in the night, traveling along, the hunter or the hunted,

Big over the small, stronger defeats the weak, faster may just escape,

Eyes in the night, for many, could be a scary sight, on this dark night.

EVERYTHING

“EVERYTHING”

Around me there are many things, they are something,

Together all become everything, not as one as they are different.

If it becomes that all these things around can not be found,

I am here alone, for the moment it stands that I am everything.

If I disappear will I become nothing and everything is around me,

Everything has so much to it as it is much more than we may even know.

For some everything is before them in their own backyard,

Within their home, everything is not only what they own,

Everything is a love, maybe only that which is important right in front,

Everything just might be all that we see.

EXPRESSIONS

EXPRESSIONS

There are those with looks of a fear unexplained,

Scared of something ,the world does not understand.

Laughing in the park, a man, and woman,

Happy are their faces as seen from the street.

Crying all alone under a tree, tears of life,

Sadness spills out of a heart so broken.

Anger sits in the soul of a human being with hurt,

Upset at the loss of loves rejection.

Many faces of this life worn, expressions learned,

Expressions so true, those of me, those of you.

EYES FROM A DISTANCE

EYES FROM A DISTANCE

They’re seen, from the park as I walk down the street,

Standing there it is this person under a tree, I can see.

In the store, I wander, shopping for food, again these eyes,

They are here, a color now seen as closer they are to me.

Eyes from a distance are upon me, their faces are searched,

So many colors all from different views, bright eyes too.

I’m everywhere, at times i can see them stare, they dare,

Eyes from a distance are not well known, they roam.

Eyes tell a story, they hold inside secrets of a life,

Eyes from a distance, what do they know, see what they show.

EVERYTHING IS ON IT’S WAY TO SOMEWHERE

EVERYTHING IS ON ITS WAY

TO SOMEWHERE

We’re all connected from the beginning of time,

No matter where we are or where we are headed.

From the first sign of DNA, we have a link to each other,

It has been discovered that in some way we are all related.

Everything is on its way to somewhere while the earth keeps spinning,

Think about it, a bite of an apple eaten and swallowed, an ongoing voyage.

From a tree planted from seed, it then grows with time as the apple forms,

The flowing river makes its way to the ocean while the ocean carry’s it away.

Everything is in constant movement or aging as it makes its journey to other places,

The wind, the falling leaves continue on even though things disappear they are never gone.

Everything is on its way to somewhere, living or not, to somewhere, constant energy.

EVERYTHING COMES WITH A PRICE

EVERYTHING COMES WITH A PRICE

Not only do we pay to live In every way but also with what we say,

To eat, have water, we must pay with a coin, a dollar hard earned.

The air we breathe, even dirt has a price on It, once something free,

Today, the time has come when nothing Is free, greed, pay or have nothing.

Love has Its own special price, much work and sacrifice Is most needed,

It too can be lost If not a daily concern, friendship has value, don’t take for granted.

When doing the right thing then there Is also a price to be paid In another way,

Standing up for that which we believe In, to speaking out loud has a big price.

Marching against, protesting, going against the law, right or wrong has Its price,

Everything comes with a price, growing old If ever so lucky comes with a trade,

One day we give our lives to god, the thanks for a life, with our souls we pay.

EVERYTHING HURTS SOMETIMES

EVERYONE HURTS SOMETIMES

Emotions run deep, hidden inside are feelings so strong,

Beneath a layer of human appearance rests another side.

What hurts in the mind also hurts within a soul’s heart,

Everyone hurts sometimes, maybe the wanting for a friend.

Things that don’t go your way, thoughts of a haunting yesterday,

Everyone hurts in a moment, quietly they suffer not wanting sympathy,

Others scream out in agony, help me! they say, fix this painful day.

Everyone hurts sometimes, life can be beautiful or it can be unkind.
