WHERE DID YOU GO MATHHILDA

I saw you in the morning, slept with me you did last night,

A tear in your eye but you did not cry, a time for goodbye.

The sun was shining bright, i saw you last night beneath a full moons light,

The bed has cob webs, only a trace of where once a smile rested beside me.

Love was as i once loved, forever was today and tomorrow never knew,

Where did you go Mathilda,? where are you now, why did you forget.

A cool breeze visits an open window, the stars hide within the searching clouds,

I saw you last night as i drifted beyond a dream, when i awoke, there was only me.

Where did you go Mathilda,? why did you go away, where did you go Mathilda.?

Why was it you could not stay.

THROUGH THE AIR WE RIDE

Take a journey, come take a journey, a magical flight,

Sweetheart, It’s just you and i up in the sky, drifting.

Above the world wherever the wind may decide,

We take our ride, we fly, and fly under the stars of the night.

Together the light of a full moon is watched as we see each other,

Floating endlessly to where we ride, across the mysterious night.

The air is cold but there is you and i to warm this time, you and i,

Heaven is visible as it is clear up so high, up so high, you and i.

Through the air we ride and fly, soaring together side by side.

FANTASY WORLD

In a world I can’not Imagine is where she lives,

Beautiful, dressed in a costume of unusual thought.

Around her exists things of created Imagination,

From a dream of futuristic worlds discovered.

She is unknown, a name of secrecy to all beings,

A vision of a warrior princess among a land of certain fantasy.

A way of life not known or understood by humans of this world,

She dreams, she lives in a fantasy world.

BEYOND THE SKY

From my beginning I’ve sat and watched you,

Up so high beyond what is blue.

I’m always here but you can’t always see,

Perhaps clouds cover your view of beautiful me.

If my lights are turned on you might see my smile,

On a dark, clear, night i’ll be up for awhile.

As you awake in the morning i’ll be asleep,

Another time is when we’ll meet.

THINGS IN ME

There are in me things I want not there,

Feelings of pain and anger taken away with the wind, up through the air.

Letting others take from me the happiness inside,

Just because of the words and opinions they choose not to hide.

My will is strong, my heart is filled with care,

At times i forget that these things are in me somewhere.

The hope in me for each day too be better than before,

No giving up do I fore my strength Inside holds open life’s door.

Those whom i love are kept at arms length,

A slight chance there may be for them to hurt me you see.

My mind holds many a thought, from my lips come out strong,

A change i must make now to get along.

Things in me i hold so dear,

The one i love most knows not my fear.

SUNRISE

Darkness disappears as day comes to life,

Footsteps of mine traveling the morning light.

The fog begins to lift showing the beauty of god,

I walk this way with hope by my side.

Quiet as it’s early fore sleep still lingers,

On the move are these legs, tired, forever tired.

Rays of light shine through the distant clouds,

Sunrise has a story for a man roaming alone.

Everything has changed as the days seem the same,

A song, he sings a song, in my ear always heard.

My favorite music from the man from Jersey,

Sunrise, sweet sunrise, each day my journey.

HILLS OF FIRE

Look to the sky, watch as the smoke rises high above,

Beauty disappears as the heat consumes what was green.

Ignorance or wind destroys gods masterpiece created,

A fool is the man who can’t see the gift put in front of him.

See the hills of fire, watch as the animals run, see their fear,

See all that can be seen through eyes of pain, of sorrow.

Hills of fire burn no more, fire of death be rained down upon,

Let life reappear, let the colors so bright be a sight.

Hills of fire and death, open your eyes, do you see,

Hills of pain, hills of sorrow, open your eyes, do you see.

Hills of beauty and laughter, open your eyes, do you see,

Hills of breath, hills of darkness, open your eyes, do you see.

Hills of danger and mistrust, open your eyes, do you see,

The glow in the sky, a scar for all to see.

Hills of eternity and life, open you eyes, do you see,

Hills of slumber, hills of strength, open your eyes, do you see.

Take these hills of fire away, never again, there’s a price you pay.

ABOVE THE WAVE

Out on the horizon, beneath the sinking sun, it rolls in,

They all come to watch, they come to ride the wild surf.

For the true surfer it comes from within, at one with the wave,

Shooting the tube, living on the edge, free to glide across the water.

From Australia, the split, surfers paradise, they battle the rolling storm,

To Hawaii, Waimea Bay, North shore, Pipeline, or Hanalei Bay, the wave.

Above the wave where dreams are made, surf the open water way,

Around the world beyond the shores of Peru to New Zealand, ride.

Above the wave, beneath the wide open sky, forever ride,

Touch the water and listen to the sound of the crashing waves.

I AM EVERYDAY, ALWAYS IS MY NAME

Die, this i do not, i am eternal,

I am each day, I am always.

As the wind is a part of me, it will forever be,

The sun has lived since its birth, it has been forever.

One day it may die, I will forever be alive,

I am space, I am everyday even when you go away.

Always is my name, I am the atom, constant energy,

I am the universe with no end in sight.

I go on and on, I am forever, no day or night,

I am everyday,. always is my name,

I am sound from every different way.

FAR OFF LAND

There was a man in a far off land,

He had no eyes, he had no hands, this man.

Told me of visions of a world he sees,

With his feet he would pick up thing’s.

He spoke of many story’s and travels,

Lessons of worth from a man in a far off land.

There were no tears or anger of his losses,

A smile for gifts bestowed upon him.

He was not weak, body or mind,

He was a man from a far off land, a kind man.

He had no want of things so many,

What he valued was simple, not riches of plenty.
